Tighnault Holiday Cottage, Invervar, Glenlyon, Aberfeldy, PH15 2PL

Sir Walter Scott described Glenlyon as the 'longest, loneliest and loveliest glen in Scotland'. It may not be as lonely as it once was, but it remains one of Scotland's scenic jewels, and at around 20 miles is the longest enclosed glen in Scotland.

Invervar is 5 miles from the foot of the glen at Fortingall. It is less than 2 hours drive from Edinburgh or Glasgow, but is a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life and is the perfect place to relax.

Tighnault is a newly refurbished cedar shingle holiday cottage that sleeps 6 and is now available for weeky lets. The cottage sits well back from the quiet single track road in almost 2 acres of grounds, where you can relax with nothing but the sound of the Invervar burn in the background. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind, whilst at the same time being well located for many activities locally and around Highland Perthshire.

Dogs, horses and ponies are welcome - see terms and conditions page. Bookings are Saturday to Saturday, with short breaks available by request.

The easiest way to find your way to the cottage is by clicking on the blue location pointer in the map below, then using the Google direction facility. Google Street View can also be accessed by clicking on the blue text below the map.
